Mortal Kombat has some of the most loyal fans in gaming. The job was to launch MK11 in a way that felt made for them, not at them. For a 25 year old franchise.
We built a launch event, bringing the game home to the fans who’d waited for, mostly, fatalities. I helped shaped the visual world of it and concepted pieces like the launch trailer storyboards.
MK11 went on to sell more than 15 million copies, the best-selling game in the franchise.
